The Elvis Hour Both Andy and Nick have been Elvis fans since childhood. Andy has known Todd Slaughter for over 50 years and for many of those years has helped with the organising, running and staging of many many fan club events. Nick is an accomplished musician in his own right, performing at numerous fan club events as lead singer with the legendary Rockabilly band “Whirlwind”. Nick has also interviewed many of the people that surrounded Elvis during his lifetime. Both Nick and Andy have also worked as tour managers on Fan club Elvis trips to the USA and Europe and between them have taken thousands of Elvis fans to see Graceland and many of the other sights connected with Elvis. Todd Slaughter has been running the Elvis Presley Fan Club of Great Britain since August 1967, though he has been actively involved in the Elvis world since 1962. Over the years his Elvis shows have been heard on a variety of radio stations, and in 1998 he won the Sony Award for his programme "Elvis 10 Years After" broadcast by Radio Trent in Nottingham. Todd founded The Elvis hour over 30 years ago. He recently celebrated his 80th birthday and is now taking a step back from the show for a well earned rest. He will still be appearing from time to time sharing his unmatched Elvis Knowledge and some of his stories from his time in the Elvis world.Copyright 2026 Todd Slaughter Thursday Música
