To catch a 5 star listen

This was a totally amazing listen . Loved the authors take on something that is real but the human eye cannot see.
Love how two empaths have gifts but they are afraid to use it . To let the mind see soothing that is not seen .
The hero buys a house with a energy in there that is not friendly. The heroine had a hair raising experience with trying to clear an energy . She said never again . But she gets an emergency call asking for her help desperately.
Does she give in.

Nicole the narrator had a clear voice. She did the characters characters perfect

Good spirits

A nice story. The H/h were a tad boring and the word "amazing" was overused to describe Allison. Surely he could think of other adjectives to describe her... like nice. The romance moved quickly from strangers to lovers and the lovers foil was overly dramatic. The ghost story added an element of interest and the love scenes were tender. A good, uncomplicated story.

Interesting plotline

This book was a little slow to get into but when it starts rolling it'll drag you with. I thought the narrator sounded believable also. The romance was sweet but I would have liked a little more relationship building.

Great paranormal story!

This was my first Carrie Pulkinen's book. This is an Intriguing paranormal story. This is an instant-lust-love between Allison and Logan and they are great together. The story line is intriguing, captivating and steamy, with a HEA. This story is as good as expected. The narrator has a soft voice, easy to listen. Unfortunately, her pace was a little slow and monotonous, and it was difficult to stay concentrated. Maybe a better pace, more entertaining, could help to bring this story to life. I received a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Ghosts, and romance

Allison a psychic and an empath has tried to use her abilities to help people, including a ghost hunting society, but is plagued with the knowledge that the two people she most wanted to help she failed. Her father committed suicide and her mother died of cancer and this has made her think less of herself.
Doing her friend Tina a favor they go to a party and she feels everyone around her there negative thoughts, ambition, and she is pulled to two others, one is an attraction she doesn’t want to feel, the other is a sadness she try’s to help and finds it’s not real but a ghost. Existing from the party confused by her attraction to the very good looking and rich owner of the home Logan Mitchell , also by the ghost Allison decides to put it behind her and forget about it. However Tina is not happy that Allison had abandoned her and forces her to go to a benefit with her.
At this benefit she again sees the man she was attracted to Logan and this time she can’t avoid him, and finds that they are both attracted to each other. The attraction leads them to finding that they both have things in common one being they are both empathic, but they both also hold on to secrets. In getting to know each other Allison helps Logan to control his abilities, eliminate a threatening entity and family issues.
But no more don’t want to give the whole story away.
Thank you Carrie Pulkinan for gifting me this audible version of this book. I enjoyed it.

Beautiful story ❤

This was such a fresh and new idea to me. I absolutely loved not only the story, but how the author was able to switch back and forth so freely between the male and female leads without having to wait until the next chapter. It flowed effortlessly and had just the right amount of steam and angst. My only thing is that I don't feel that this narrator did these characters justice.

Romance

Enjoyed this ghost story romance. The author and narrator were both new to new and enjoyed both. Would not recommend to someone who spooks easy. The ideal of ghost among us is not everyone’s cup of tea.

Sweet

This story was interesting and sweet and angtsy all rolled into one.

It started off a little slow but picked up speed about halfway through the story and then I didn’t want to stop. The end was beautiful.

To Catch a Spirit (Spirit Chasers/Haunted Ever After #1) was a good read by Carrie Pulkinen. Logan Mitchell is an empath who has used his talent of reading people’s emotions in the business world. But his ability also triggers his unbearable OCD. He also has a ghost that is haunting him and slowly driving him crazy. Allison Gray is a psychic medium who is drawn to Logan from the moment they met. As an empath herself, she can help him control the barrage of emotions. But a scary incident has left her terrified of spirits. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.
