Publisher's summary

We often can't even explain what we're feeling. On rare occasions, we can. But it's even far more rare for us to really understand why we feel the way we do. We often blame our spouses for the way they make us feel. We blame money because it's the subject that all the tense feelings center around. But what is the real culprit and how often do we really see it?

This book takes you on an introspective journey into the human heart. If you've felt a sense of emptiness in life...if you've wondered where the joy has gone, as well as the peace and purpose you once knew, then I invite you to join me on this journey. This series will be an adventure that's beneficial in many ways.

This book is great for small groups and bible study groups, or for you to simply enjoy beneath the shade of your favorite tree. Welcome to the adventure. Let's explore the heart together.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would highly recommend this book to everyone. It gives great insight into how to live your life in a state of appreciation for the things that really matter and not to get lost in the minutiae. A great reminder to take time to remember the joyful and beautiful moments in life.

We thought something was missing, maybe it has only been forgotten

We start at the beginning, things are new & exciting. Later, we are in the middle, things change & we feel something is missing. Our hearts can be revived & we can remember. Great answers are within us. This is worth reading! I will be reading more than once.

Grateful for CJ

This is a great read for anyone and everyone who has been or is going through questions about where they are in life. From the subjects of self worth, comparison, and life’s value, CJ lays down his own experiences in order to connect to his audience and in order to remind us that we need to look at our past to build in our present.

if you feel lost and discouraged look here!

let me first start by saying I feel like this is one of the many ways god reaches out to use through someone else.

life is tough, there is no doubt about that. we struggle and lose sight of everything we are blessed with. But, at what point did we go from a carefree, filled with endless hope to the screaming mom? mastering the art of the best fakest smile? feeling lost while we are sitting on the couch in the living room watch old reruns?

This book puts those things in perspective. It helps us reflect back to when we had all those things. Get ready to pull yourself up!
