But if women and children first were the rule, then why did almost half the children on board Titanic die, including Treasteall and Albert Peacock?

Well, about 60 Titanic crew and passengers had New Jersey connections, in all three classes, and all over the ship, and over the course of this podcast, we’ll explore them all, especially the tale of a certain chief baker, with whom I have a historical bone to pick. But this time, we’re going to introduce yours truly, your unreliable narrator for the series.
