What was one of the most memorable moments of 'Tis the Season?

Without giving too much away, it is when 3 of the girls decide to make a special Christmas for someone who, without them, Christmas might have been lost forever. It's written in such a special way that shows compassion without pity.

Have you listened to any of Ariadne Meyers’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to all the Main Street books available at Audible (see title of this post). The best thing, I think you can say about a reader is that she is very consistant. Her pace, characters, and voice quality are consistant, and that leads to a very favorable experience. This is so important when you are dealing with younger children who are not forgiving when someone changes a character's voice from one book to another.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Christmas in Camden Falls will forever be changed this year, but will it be for the better?

I urge all mothers to listen to these books with there tweenagers. Ms. Martin brings up adult themes (bullying, divorce, death, aging, special needs children, race and others) in a sensitive and positive way. These books lead to lively conversations with your children at an age when they might otherwise be tuning you out.
