Tina G.

Tina lives in North London and this is her GCSE year. She's a clever girl and life should be reasonably easy, but it isn't. For one thing, her father left seven years ago and Tina misses him. Her mother's new partner is a slob, mixed up in gangland. Not only that, he is ever more attentive to Tina, free with his hands, a slap here and a caress there and she is frightened of what might happen. Tina does what so many children of broken families do, she runs away. Tina does not camp out under Charing Cross bridge, she takes off for Paris and a new life. At first she cannot believe her luck, everything goes her way but her good fortune turns to dust. Again she is fortunate for in her darkest hour, she is rescued by a real celebrity, Trudi. That is just the beginning of her troubles.
