Publisher's summary

Working in deep cover, Noah and the team are fully aware of the danger that surrounds them as they prepare for the most comprehensive mass elimination in E&E's history, but things may not be exactly as they seem. At the same time, Noah must deal with Monique, the seemingly untouchable mole that has tentacles in every government agency, but it's while dealing with her threats that he realizes there's something amiss.

Who stands to benefit most if the Morgan Mafia is eliminated? Even more importantly, whose hands will he be playing into if the mission is carried out?

With his confidence shaken all the way to the top of E&E, Noah decides his only option is the one he always takes: to do what he thinks is right, and damn the consequences!

Not your cookie cutter operative...

This is such a fun series. I really have enjoyed all of these books. Plenty of action with some pretty colorful characters who are unique from any of the other espionage characters.
This is part two of the previous book (Balance of Power). Do not read this as a stand alone, you will be lost.
This book picks up where the previous book ended. Two cliffhangers. Both are resolved. The mole who was getting info on E&E and the Morgan Mafia in the Ozarks. This has a Bang Up ending with a few surprises and two new recruits.
Adam Verner does an excellent job narrating.

Second half of outstanding Noah Wolf novel!

Time to Hunt, Book 8 in the Noah Wolf series, completes the two book novel begun with Balance of Power. The novel has two parallel plot lines both of which occur within the US which is unusual for this espionage thriller series.

One of the more interesting aspects of the Noah Wolf series is the development and use of high technology gadgetry. The technology leader of E&E reminds one of Q of James Bond fame with his unique gadget for every need. In this novel he modifies a 1969 Dodge Charger to make it bullet proof, gives it extra power and speed, and weaponizes it with automatic guns and grenade launchers. It is also capable of self driving. There are also exploding cell phones and miniature body implantable trackers that include imaging capability.

This is an outstanding two book novel with great action, intense suspense, a marvelous plot, and excellent narration by Adam Verner.

Bad accent

The book was fairly good, but the Cajun accent from one of the characters was so bad and distracting, I would have likely not finished the book if it had been used much more.
