Time stamps.

Our life is marked by them. Significant milestones to the seemingly mundane. All of them have a place. A purpose. Moments and chapters stacking on each other, building scars and memories. Creating stories that are only ours to tell.

But those stamps are finite, pre-determined. And eventually our allotment runs out.

From the first moment Roth laid eyes on Laurel, he was done for. She is sarcastic and clumsy, and the most whimsically alluring creature he has ever met. And as he sat across the table from her in a café on their first date, he fell head over heels in love. He couldn't imagine his life without her. Their romance is a whirlwind. Their love deep and unrivaled.

But life doesn’t often follow our pre-scripted playbook, and after 10 short years together, Laurel receives devastating, life-altering news that will change everything.

Time Stamps is a heartwarming and heartbreaking epic love story about life, hope, and loss. Told in the past through Laurel's eyes and the present through Roth's, you will embark on a beautiful, intimate journey into a couple's lives, where ultimately what matters most is not only how we live each day, but the memories we leave behind.

A Beautiful & Moving Story! Amazing Narration🎧

This book tore me apart like no other, and after just losing one of my closest friends to cancer, and was on that journey with her from the moment of her diagnosis, I was not sure if I could get through the story. I pushed myself forward, realizing this story is more about living than dying and I can honestly say I see my friend in this story, her name was not Laurel but I saw her in Laurel. And I even saw some Roth Warren Keswick in my friend’s husband, who, like Roth, would have moved the earth for his wife if he could and even switch places because he did not want to live a life without her. KL Kreig created a beautiful love story, the characters are realistic and relatable, ones that you can not help but care about and even fall for. This story alternates timelines and points of view, we get Laurel’s POV telling when the two first meet and then Roth in the present time. The story captivated my attention the entire time and tugged at my heartstrings, too. And the storytelling and descriptive details take you alongside the characters, having you join them for their journey, experiencing everything they do, and you could feel the love they had for each other, the heartbreak and the courage. The writing, plot and world building in this book are phenomenal, as are the character growth and development. KL Kreig, thank you for this beautiful and meaningful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, KL Kreig cast the perfect narrators to bring her characters and story to life. Bryant Walker and Austenne Grey did a fantastic job portraying and humanizing the characters, giving each a voice that was fitting and believable. Walker nailed it as Roth, grasping every aspect of his personality, from his youthful and fun loving side to his caring and then grief stricken side. Grey took on Laurel’s role courageously, also grasping every aspect of her personality, including her strength and determination. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling every single one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another wonderful listen.

How you spend the time with the one you love 💔

Let me start off by saying this book is VERY emotional! It made me laugh, smile, and cry! It's the epic love story of Laurel and Roth. It starts from their first encounter, which was pretty funny, to their last moments together and everything in between. Laurel finds out she is dying. She has under a year to live. What would you do if you had time to spend with your loved one however you wanted? Roth and Laurel decide to make the most of their time by traveling the country in a plush motorcoach named the Songbird. Roth and Laurel go to some magical and memorable spots on this journey to make the most of whatever time they do have left. Roth kept hoping for a miracle to save Laurel. Laurel made plans for after she was gone to get the one thing she truly wanted but couldn't have. It was also what made her discover she had cancer to begin with. Yes, this book is terribly sad but, unfortunately, realistic. It is not the easiest book to read or listen to but worth it. It makes me sad for all the people who don't get the time with their loved ones. The book is beautifully written, epically tragic, and a true testament to love.

Loved it!

I can not tell you how much I loved listening to this story. The narrators did a really excellent job telling this epic love story. It has been a while since I read or listened to a book that made me ugly cry. I highly recommend reading or listening to this story and have tissue. I hope someday this story gets made into a movie.

emotional

Brilliantly written, an emotional story. a wonderful romance of love, My Tears fell freely, this story touched me, having friends and family having cancer. I understand the pain and false hope for a miracle.
Bryant Walker and Austenne Grey emotional narration is perfection. I felt their love and anguish throughout this audio.

INTENSE.

Wow!
This one held a tight hold on me and really took my emotions for a ride. It was heart-wrenching, but still hopeful at times and just so profoundly done, all-around.

Highly recommend, but if you’re a crier, be ready with ALL the tissues.

Good god did I ball at this book

I’m still bawling my eyes out as I write this review. It’s so very sad. You can 100% feel the first hand experience the author has with dealing with loosing a loved one through cancer. I personally lost my father this way and I believe the author really did a fantastic group telling this story. Though the story dealing with loosing a wife not a father i felt it super relatable. I did guess the ending about half way through but I did feel like that was a real silver lining. Be prepared to have your heart wrapped out. Truely a greatly written story.

Emotional

I knew this was going to be an emotional one for me since I've lost so many family members to cancer and recently. I cried but this was such a good story about living life. I generally have a hard time with tv shows that flash back and forth because I am doing two things and miss something. Luckily with the audiobook I was able to still do other things but could follow along without any problem as we went through the different Time Stamps. Narrators did a great job and I would highly recommend it if you aren't afraid to shed a few tears or an emotional story!
