Publisher's Summary

From New York Times best-selling author Penny Reid:

A (brokenhearted) physicist.

Now an infamous (who is literally everywhere! Ugh!) musician.

The worst has already happened.

Mona has learned that she has nothing figured out and plans are meaningless. After leaving her in Aspen, Abram is now breaking sales records, rising to rock star fame almost overnight. Mona can’t seem to escape him. He is literally everywhere or, at least, images of him are.

Just when she thinks things can't get any more confusing, Abram returns.

What happens next? Only time will tell.

Time is book six in Hypothesis Series.

male voice is too robotic

I'm having trouble concentrating whenever i listen to Jacob Morgan's voice, it sounds so idiotic when he tries to mimic a female voice. He sounds too monotone for me. I'm not really feeling him, or is it just me?

but Fiona did fantastic! She's perfect for the role

I Love this Series!

I really love this series, but I have one critique.
I wish the female parts were read by a woman, and the male parts were read by a man. I find the sound of a man speaking for the female characters is very off-putting and it takes away from my enjoyment of the book.

Runs completely out of steam

The Elements of Chemistry part of this series (the first 3 books), while not brilliant literature, are hot, and a compelling story. The male protagonist is an ass, and in real life, one should run screaming from him, but as a fictional character he is redeemed, and the result is a steamy read. This physics portion of the trilogy, however, lacks any of the compelling angst or danger or spark of the first three books. The plot "complications" are laughable, and register as totally unbelievable for a fully formed adult character. The male lead varies between being a beacon of politically correct masculinity, and a total condescending, overprotective weirdo. The main character is at times the totally self-aware daughter of musical superstars, and at other times an awkward, socially inexperienced, timid introvert. The rendering is SUPER inconsistent. The female narrator mispronounces any number of words throughout the series in ways that are distracting. The third book of the series has the culminating sexual encounter....maybe halfway through? By that point I was too bored to care. And then...the book just drags on and on for no apparent reason. Then it ends on nothing...

Penny’s stories are the best!

I love Penny’s characters. I so appreciate that these characters are so relatable despite their relatable wealth/careers. The themes of this story were thought provoking. The representation of intelligent characters in “romance” is awesome. Thank you Penny for bringing heart, soul, intelligence and passion into the world via your words!

Penny delivers

I am a big fan of this couple and while I'm in general a little over the crazy wealth we see in these stories, this couple is so likeable that I forgive their being so rich. I especially love that the obstacles between them weren't unbelievable, over the top, never-ever-going-to-really-happen, kind of obstacles. This series is a great listen. The narration was fantastic!

Not My Favorite

I wish they had used Fiona for the whole book, as I found Jacob’s performance of female voices to be... irritating.

The storyline was the weakest of the series, and was it just me, or did Penny somehow make Abram way less sexy somehow?? In the first book he was so hot. Here he was just... annoying and petulant. I finished it, but it was a book I kept stopping and starting as I found myself getting annoyed by it, or it felt slow solely for the sake of drawing it out without any real substance.

A solid conclusion to a great series.

There is nothing negative to say about this story and these characters. I am definitely on board the Penny Reid train!! The narration from both Fiona Fischer and Jacob Morgan is fantastic and the way the series concluded completely melted my heart. Bravo!!!

WOW!!!

Where to start, Mona is the type of girl you want to hate and yet then feel sorry for. She is so smart but yet so dumb when it comes to real life. I loved her honesty. But hated how she believed her sister and friend gabby. Her family was crap. I totally loved Abrum and hated what Mona did to him, or should I say what Lisa did to him. You must listen to book I loved it and won’t say more. Don’t want to spoil anymore of book.
