A favorite since I was a child with books on tape

I remember following along to this via a book on tape that chimed to let you know when to turn the page. wonderful story.

Teacher's Delight

As a retired teacher I remember the delight of my first graders as they listened to the repetitions of that great long name. They repeated it from memory and giggled as the eyes of parents opened wide at their ability. I was delighted to find it on Audible at such a reasonable price. I could not resist. As I listened to Peter Thomas reading that great long name with suitable expression, I giggled aloud again.

Nostalgic

This is the version that we listened to in the 70s. It came with the book from scholastic. It was so hard to find. Happy to hear it again

Tikka Tikki Tambo is a childhood favorite.

I remembered this story from when I was a kid. One day playing with my young boys this story popped into my head. I had to find it and read it to them! I wanted them to hear the story and hoped it would stick with them the way it did for me. They have enjoyed it very much and I am so happy that Audible has it. I wasn't sure if the story would still be around so many years later. It has made my day and the boys have really enjoyed it too! thanks 😊

great story, terrible narration and audio quality

don't waste a dollar on this. buy the good CD narration with the female voice narration. it's a million times better.

My 3 year old and 7 year old love this book!

It's on repeat in our Google home speaker ♡ My kids love this book while playing with legos or drawing.

It was entertaining!

I was a bit distracted by the music. It seems to be battling the words. Turn it down a bit! Otherwise very enjoyable.
