I didn’t expect to be so flabbergasted by this story.
Dr. Kong’s work in the stem cell field is what brought me here, but her life story goes way deeper, and truly embodies the American Dream.

Powerful, Honest, and Inspiring!
I was seriously impressed and inspired. I understand firsthand the frustration of having to overcome artificial barriers imposed by others to prevent your forward momentum and growth, but I never could have imagined the degree to which Joy had been thwarted, by governmental bureaucracy, sexism, racism, the whims of people in authority, and the dangerous insecurities of loved ones that can turn them into enemies... and yet still persevere so triumphantly. This was truly a hero's journey!
