Thunder Egg Heart

In 1875 Idaho Territory, Emma Blackwood arrives with her late father's geological notebooks and a dream of finding precious opals in the Owyhee Mountains. But her scientific quest collides with sacred tradition when she meets Daniel Eagle Eye, a half-Nez Perce guide who guards ancient secrets about the stones his people call "thunder eggs."

As they venture deeper into the mountains, Emma and Daniel discover their conflicting worlds of science and spirituality might not be so different after all. But when a rival mining company threatens both the sacred sites and their growing love, they must find a way to preserve both the land's mysteries and their future together.
