Mega is trying to leave his past behind—but the streets don’t forget.

Once known for making people disappear, Mega is determined to change his life in Harborhaven, a city built on secrets and corruption. Then he meets Livia, a strong-willed elementary school teacher who believes people can be more than their worst mistakes.

Their connection is real, intense, and dangerous. As Mega fights to stay on the right path, old secrets start to surface, forcing hard choices that could cost him everything—including Livia. Love isn’t enough when the past keeps calling your name.

THUG is a gritty urban romance about redemption, second chances, and what happens when a woman with everything to lose falls for a man the world already counted out.

The voice is what makes it bad. if it was another still of maybe even a man voice or both then who knows. This last part was all over the place and it was hard to keep up with

Again the Virual voice

Idk if it was the character or the narrator but Livia was annoying to me . I honestly felt like she was whiney lol. I know she was going thru some thing but come on sis smh lol.. but Mega sounded like a sexy thing . Now his profession during the story was ehh sketchy but understood his reasons. He get back was flawless .. boy walked in and walked out like nothing. Overall it was a good story.

However… I likely would have liked it more if Not one virtual voice… I’ve heard some that use two… it improves the texture… but one thing that buffed me was the lack of text given to the healing care that was needed for Marie.. AND… how Josheer.. a NINE.. year old was home with his Mom and not it a hospital!! Really?? He’s been “passed” around… Not to dwell on darkness, but make his recovery apart of the storyline… that would have been healthier and real…
Glad that Livvia and family and Mega, Maria and their Dad were going to work for reunification.. but again… the hell that girl survived… hmmm … could have been written into address the reconnection with the Father.

Probably reconciliation

Olivia and Mega were destined to be together, they had so many different things going on with their lives. Olivia parents are ruthless. I felt sorry for Mega little sister Maria,
