Thrust Under was a very enjoyable story with memorable characters, the perfect amount of steamy bits, and low angst. The narrator, Meghan Kelly, did an impressive job with the male voices in the book and really helped bring the story to life. This is a quintessential beach book!!

Fantastic narration!

I really the way this book was narrated. She did a fantastic job doing both male and female parts and I enjoyed it! It was steamy and I wasnt sure whether Gabe was someone I should like or dislike!
I haven’t read anything by these authors either so this was a first for me! It was different as well as intriguing and I liked the story! I enjoy sports romance and this book was right up my alley!

another playboy bites the dust...

Maggie has completed her tour in the military and has returned home to Oahu to help her parents run their small hotel. What Maggie was not expecting was the poor condition of the hotel, due in part to the remodeled high rise resort next door. Maggie also did not expect to have the incredible chemistry with former baseball player and owner of the resort, Gabe Carter. When Gabe proposes a business deal, of sorts..a temporary marriage to clean up his image, in exchange for the cash to renovate her parent's hotel...will Maggie agree or will she give in to the advances of her ex? This is a quick story of persistence and family. Of course we have a few 'ex encounters' to spice things up, but it's worth it to have Gabe and Maggie's HEA.

Great story. Great pace. Maggie and Gabe have to overcome their doubts to finally get their HEA.

To Love or Not to Love.....That is the Question

What started as a contract for marriage to mutually benefit two people.....for him, to show that he has matured so he can get the financial backing needed to expand his business and for her, so he can financially help her parents and save their family business....actually ends up where both folks truly do love one another. The story line is great and the narration was phenomenal! The narrator has voices for each character, which just gives this book the extra "zing" which makes this book a 5 star.

Enemies to lovers!

You can't go wrong with a book by Michelle A. Valentine and Emily Snow. This enemies to lovers story is hot, sweet and full of passion. Maggie has returned from her service to find her family business floundering. Her father's health is not good and things are on a downward spiral. Running into her cheating ex has her flinging herself into the arms of a stranger, Gabe, who lights up her world, and is the demise of her family's hotel. Gabe is a retired baseball player with they typical bad boy reputation. What he needs is a social makeover and a marriage of convenience to Maggie is his ticket! These two authors have put together two unlikely people and made a credible story. Maggie is a tough, loyal woman doing what she needs to help her parents. Gabe is an ambitious, misunderstood man who knows what he wants and will do what he needs to get it. Will they fall in love? Will Maggie save her parents' hotel? Will Gabe's dream resort come through? Or will circumstances blow up in their faces? Send in a couple of characters you will love to hate and you will be surprised with the outcome! It's a fun, loving story.

Meghan Kelly is fast becoming one of my favorite narrators. She has a large variety of voices to master all the characters in a story and make each one with their own qualities. She makes the story come alive and brings gives that warm feeling to her performance.

However, Gabriel Carter has opened a resort directly across from her parents' inn, which severely decreased the inn's reservations. When Maggie's friend convinces her to go to a party in the enemy's territory, Maggie sucks it up. Free booze, right? As Maggie enters the room, though, she spots her ex and panics. She grabs the first guy she sees and kisses him. Gabe is intrigued by her forwardness and decides he must have her. He introduces himself, but Maggie is so distracted she doesn't even hear his first name. After she finds out who he is, Maggie is furious.

If you're looking for a Hawaiian homecoming with an enemies-to-lovers, faux-marriage, this is the book for you!

Loved Thrust Under!

I enjoyed listening to every minute of this audiobook! The characters were well developed and the chemistry between the hero and heroine was palpable. I would definitely recommend this listen!

Amazing listen!!!

I loved Thrust Under!!! This was a sweet and sexy story of bad boy former sports star and the girl who kinds falls into his life and doesn’t want to like him!!!! The story of the relationship is full of misunderstanding.

I really enjoyed listening to this and I loved Meghan Kelly’s narration! It was my first listen for her but it won’t be my last!!!

Perfect fit.

Sleeping with enemy takes on a whole new meaning. Gabe and Maggie are my introduction to another great author.  Thrust Under is a tale built on heat, misunderstandings and heart.  With characters as fiery as Maggie and Gabe,  it's only fitting that Meghan Kelly bring her spirited deliver on board for this sexy escapade.  Valentine and Snow chose well and created a perfect fit.
