Three to Get Deadly

Absolutely loved it, I was so glad that Moe came through his surgery and he’s going to be OK. And I know Lula did not want to leave Stephanie and Moe but fortunately she did. She got help. I love that when Stephanie thought they were going to kill Rex, she was so angry with these mass men, and I love that her neighbors came over with their guns to protect her. The guys were arrested, and of course they had lawyers. But I love the story, And all the drama that this one entailed.

Still Interested!

Just like any comedic drama, I can't wait to see what will happen next! The character stories are moving along with excitement and laughs along the way.

I have really enjoyed listening to the way the narrator, C.J. Critt, portrays the character voices. I think she does an amazing job. I look forward to hearing her narrator the next book in the series.

narrator is not funny!

I'm a fan of Stephanie Plum, written or audio. I think they are fun, funny books, but if this was my introduction, it would be my last. This narrator didn't do it justice.

Redemption for Evanovich After Disappointing Book2

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, its fun and there is a lot of humor even though the story revolves around the investigation of 9 murder victims!

Would you recommend Three to Get Deadly to your friends? Why or why not?

Bounty hunter Stephanie Plum is back. The brassy babe in the powder blue Buick has been given the unpopular task of finding Mo Bedemier, Trenton's most beloved citizen, arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, gone no-show for his court appearance. Once again, the entire One for the Money crew is in action, searching for Mo, tripping down a trail littered with dead drug dealers, leading Stephanie to suspect Mo may be in over his head.

Have you listened to any of C. J. Critt’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, not the best narration. Listening on 1 1/2 speed made it MUCH better.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, I listened to an hour or two at a time until the end when I listened to the last 3 hours to wrap it up.

Any additional comments?

NOTE: Strong language

Another Adventure for Stephanie

If you could sum up Three to Get Deadly in three words, what would they be?

Mo meets match.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lula is my favorite character. She has spunk and makes me laugh.

Would you listen to another book narrated by C. J. Critt?

I would listen to another book by CJ Critt. She has an older, possibly smokers voice and I don't think it fits Stephanie's character very well, but she does a decent job. Her voices for the other characters aren't bad. I have listened to the other books in the series that she has done and I don't feel it detracts from the story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. I enjoyed the book, but I didn't need to listen to it all in one sitting. It was enjoyable, but not riveting.

Any additional comments?

This is a fun addition to the Stephanie Plum series. It's worth a listen.

And Stephanie grows on.

This was a very good story. Lots of key players, development of characters. I was Not too fond of Lula chasing after Ranger. Actually, Lula’s character was a bit over-the-top but she’s a very good friend. Grandma stayed at home but she had all the info.
