When Tally’s mother suffers a setback at the same time Danielle’s PTSD becomes unmanageable, it seems Tally’s efforts to aid them only make things worse. Can the soldier’s story, along with the care of Kenan, help Tally accept the hope that waits just around the corner?

The author is brilliant. You're actually getting 2 stories for the price of 1. I will not spoil it. I love this series.
Stina Neilson is one of my favorite narrators. You can't go wrong with her narrations. Looking forward to the next book.

I enjoyed this book because in a way it was historical, bringing World War 1 and the Iraq War into the story line. The parallel of lives of the characters was most interesting. I found the book believable and thoroughly enjoyed it. And once again Stina Nieslen does a great job!
