This story started out a little slow for me, but once the chemistry and angst heated up I was in for the ride. And a shock of a ride with THAT taboo twist of an ending! I didn’t see that coming and I’m curious to how the story moves forward in the next book. While the narration was great, there was a disruptive static at the start of each chapter, which hopefully can be edited out for a smoother listening experience.
