A teacher's adventure in Palestine
There’s a saying that goes along the lines of: the difference between your government and mine is much larger than the one between you and I. Cynthia Yoder’s book vividly depicts the story of an American in Palestine, whose mission is to help create the Arab American University’s English Department and teach English there. The author takes you on her 5-year-old journey of being a teacher in a conflict-ridden zone.
