Publisher's summary

Dan Foster's world is in chaos.

His escape to his brother's farm wasn't enough to keep his family safe from the ravenous zombie hordes. Now on the road once again, he struggles with the guilt of his inaction that cost him dearly.

As Dan tries to put the pieces of his life back together, he must confront a sadistic evil that has risen amongst the remnants of society. He will soon learn the monsters that walk in the open pale in comparison to those still lurking in the shadows.

Good but....

Good story. However, Mr. Writer, remember it is a zombie story, not a psychopath novel. More zombie stuff like what their mutations mean, survival amongst them, etc.. would be great.Less about Dan's plan for revenge on the crazy man who has supposedly killed his family. Also, timeline check on Jason and Murphy -they can't now just be getting to Wisconsin at the same time Dan just got out of his prison, right? There's no way even in a zombie winter it would take that long to drive from California.
