Publisher's summary

Michael Rapaport, actor, top 50 podcaster, award-winning film maker, and sports fanatic, is here to set the world straight on the greatest and downright worst athletes, players, teams, and jerseys - while refusing to mention statistics, analytics, or anything else that isn't pure hustle.

In 1979, nine-year-old Michael Rapaport decided he was going to do whatever it took to be a pro baller. He practiced and practiced, but by the time he was 15, he realized there was no place for a slow, white Jewish kid in the NBA. So he found another way to channel his obsession with sports: talking trash.

In This Book Has Balls, Rapaport uses his signature smack-talk style and in-your-face humor to discuss everything from why LeBron will never be like Mike to how Tiger needs the ladies to get his golf game back and how he once thought Mary Lou Retton was his true love. And, of course, why next year will be the year the New York Knicks win the championship. This book is a series of rants - some controversial, some affectionate, but all incredibly hilarious.

Gringo Mandingo Mike Rapaport does it again!

I am a fan of The IAMRAPAPORT Stereo Podcast, if you love the podcast you will love this book! The music inbetween chapters, sounds like MoodyBeats. From the dedication at the start of the book, to that poor editor's notes on dealing & surviving The Gringo Mandingo. Each chapter got funnier & funnier. I renewed my membership just for this book.

Incredible!! Finished it in two days!

I was completely hooked once I started it, and only stopped listening to it for work and some family time. It is that good! I found myself laughing out loud in public with my earbuds in many, many times. There is so much humor, heartfelt emotion, and great stories woven throughout his narrative I wish there was more. Good work Gringo Mandingo, you killed it it duke.

Could only get half way through

I feel like he was screaming at you the whole time. Might be a good book to read if you are trying to get fired up for something but too intense to consider relaxing. Not as funny as you would think either.

Disappointed In this CRAP.

I have to admit I was extremely disappointed in this book. I'm a Michael Rapaport fan and think he's funny as heck, but this was crap!! The book literally had a 5 or 6 chapter intro!!! Who does that?!?! By the time Mike finally got to the good stuff I'd lost interest. I tried to pick it back up but was so burnt out on the boring history lesson and loooong boring personal feelings about his childhood I was done. I wanted to get my money back on this one but waited too late. Everyone has their opinion but as for me this was a complete waste of time and money. Stick to television bro. Like they mentioned in the beginning of the book they should've kept this to themselves. It Sux!!!👎👎👎👎👎👎

You want Mike Rap? You got Mike Rap!

It has a lot of random moments, but when you know that's a possibility coming in. I knew what I was getting and I got it. Great listen. Very funny. Just wish Moody made the book.

For Sport Enthusiasts that can Handle Some Trash

Michael brings humor to the sports world like no other. He covers everything from Tennis to Football and even throws in some trash about the Kardashians and kids buying shoes they will never wear. Loved this from top to bottom! This read was so superb it felt a bit indugent. Picking up a hard copy for my brother today!

Language warning: Michael drops the F bomb quite a bit here.

A Second Review.

Upon further review this book is trash and Rapaport is soft. Enjoy your herpes marshmallow.

Rapaport Delivers

Ga head, read the book. Rapaport delivers with an excellent performance and a very interesting story. Great value that he narrated the book himself

Thank you for bringing back sports to 2017

In the year that ESPN died it is great to hear the true heart of a fan that still beats! UfukU you wrote a great book. Keep them coming!
