OMG Hot

That’s the hottest sexiest love story I’ve ever heard I’ll be reading this one over and over

A lot of sex.

Story is engaging. Characters are fun. You can't worry to much about the likelihood this story really happens. You just have to read and enjoy.

Absolutely Fantastic!

The most amazing love story! The sexual growth through honest communication and trust was like no other story. I enjoyed the entire journey to include the ending. It is very explicit which I loved. I cannot wait to read her next book. This one will be hard to top.

Romance with Eroticism

Thirteen Hours is the story of an uptight career woman who gets stuck in the elevator with the birthday stripper-gram whom she spitefully rejected earlier, while she tries to escort her out of the building.

It’s Friday night, and everyone’s already left the office. For the next 13 hours they’re stuck in the elevator, and each chapter is an “hour.” Tons and tons of build-up, and finally! On hour 11 ...

Plotting is Difficult for this Author

What made the experience of listening to Thirteen Hours the most enjoyable?

The development of the relationship.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I have read other books by this author, and she has issues with plotting. I would have spent a little less time on the sex and a little more time developing a plot and creating a better climax (no pun intended). The book is more sex than story. I understand that she's trying to develop the characters through the sex, and the sex is well done, but we see very little of their characters outside of the sex.

What about Alicyn Aimes’s performance did you like?

She's excellent at developing different voices for difference characters. She may be one of my favorite narrators.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"Nine and a Half Weeks in an Elevator"

This author has so much potential, but she doesn't yet have the skill to experiment with plot the way she does.

What an awesome love story!

I was gleefully surprised at how sweet the love story developed from these two polar opposite main characters! I was expecting just a quick, raunchy listen but cannot express how happy I was to discover it went so much deeper than that. I will definitely be listening to this again when I need a good pick me up.

Call it what it is: erotica

Really good erotica with decent narration (voices could have been more varied). The story itself was lacking - and parts of the book that weren't all about sex were exceptionally cheesy. The author did cover some important themes, but the story was so segmented and random that they mostly caused me to roll my eyes. If you want to read erotica, read this. It covers a wide array of sexual fantasies. If you want a good romance novel, this is definitely not it.

Hot stuff

The book was very enjoyable. However the narrator took a little getting used to as the voices of the characters were very similar and hard to differentiate. The story itself was simple in its theme but did have some unusual elements. The concept of the first meeting was different. The sex scenes long and drawn out but in a good way. I thoroughly recommend this book but definitely needs to be listened to in private. Really hot stuff.
