Publisher's summary

How can Sarom prevent the destruction of his world, when no one believes him? As a child, he gains the gift of seeing the future after chancing upon a UFO in the sky, a ship of the ancient star Guardians. As a prophet among his people, he predicts what is to come. But no one takes him seriously. What good is it to be able to see the problems that will happen in the future, if no one is willing to take action, until it is too late?

With the support of the Guardians, he grows to be recognized as a true prophet, despite being a novice monk. Although they have successfully evacuated his planet to the space colony, they must now face self-destruction, brought about by an internal war among its inhabitants. And this time, the guardians will not help them. Why? Are they destined to die?

The Third Evacuation is a science fiction novel, filled with prophecies, fantastic characters, walking plants, giants hiding in nature, interstellar travelers, and many more - showing us a parallel to Earth’s current situation. Will we be able to avoid our planet’s destruction, too? Time is running out. We need to do something.

World Ending Alien Guardians

Not everyone can choose their destiny nor when it happens.  Sarom is a young man without experience, has strong faith, and no one to believe in him.  He has a gift given to him by the Guardians and now he must convince those in his town to trust him.  If he can’t convince them, their world is going to end.

The author, Francisco Villate has woven a story blending aliens and prophecies.  In this world, Villate provides unique characters that enhance the story. These characters include walking plants, giants, and more.  Rich in detail, his descriptions are vivid. The story moves a bit slow in the beginning as he carefully sets the stage for each part of the book. The author does a solid job of reminding the listener that faith goes two ways and action is oftentimes required.

The narrator, Ryan Haugen is a slow, methodic speaker who uses unique voices. He speaks clearly and concisely.  If you are not a fan of slow narrators, this is a good solid listen.

If you enjoy alien-driven books as well as an apocalyptic-type story, this fits the bill.  The story is straightforward and easy to follow.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook, it was clear and well produced.
