Another great take on TAGR
This is a book I try to read every six months. I go no longer that a year between readings. I usually read the original classic text. I decided to see if I could take something new away from the updated text here. It was nice having some of the book take place in the almost present time. However I found the new examples to not fit the message as well. At least not as well as how Napoleon Hill would have done it. I definitely recommend starting with the complete classic text first. The outdated stories can still be applied to today. It's just up to you to draw the comparison.

Great book, terrible narrator
I thought that this book was excellent, however, I had a hard time listening because the narrator was terribly boring and was like listening to Ben Stein for 7 hours.

AMAZING . This book is the ONE RING.
Think And Grow Rich is the self help book to riches that rules all the others. I always thought "The Secret" misguided many by mostly stating that you just had to think about what you wanted and then it would be realized.
I knew even then that if you really want something then "your persistent actions" that you take are needed to move you in that direction.
This book though written so many years ago gives you a blueprint on how to move your life forward.

Good but
Interesting and inspiring. However, towards the end it starts talking about weird mystical things which help "prove" the main thesis of this book - but very far fetched. Probably the year it was written it was very novel, but today almost all ideas in this book are present in many other literary works. Overall, not a bad read/listen.
