When the Heck is Book 2 coming out?!
I can't listen to any other Narrators after discovering R.C. Bray.
I listen to books I would never buy because he's so damn excellent at what he does.
Seriously, I would listen to him read a Thesaurus and narrate 4 audiobooks about how paint dries, he's so Damn good.
For any military junkies, this book was phenomenal. Well paced, consistent, very accurate in it's military jargon and descriptions.
Get it.

Beware if sensitive to violence towards women and children
Great story, well written and Bray is amazing as usual...however, I found certain parts of this book near impossible to listen through, regarding the descriptive depth of the all too realistic evils of human behavior and thought.

darn you Slater
as a trucker on a water delivery who was broke down (brake drum air leak) who was fantasizing putting a bullet in Slater...I simply couldn't help but love the beat down he got and the hearty belly laugh I got after hearing his background.

Cliche but entertaining.
Nothing you probably haven't heard or seen, but RC Bray lifts the story with his performance. Cliche to a fault and a bit oddly paced but still entertaining none the less.

Good book but…
I really enjoyed the story and accuracy regarding mindsets during engagements. I loved the jokes and humor, but I did not really care for the underline constant depiction of the African Americans in the story… Towards the end, there “appeared” to be a constant theme of them. Just my opinion…
Other than that I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next book. So far, this could easily be translated to a movie

overall to many plot holes. i honestly don't like any of the characters. their all unlikeable and most annoying. also enough fire power would infact take out all the zombies. seems to be unlimited amount of zombies.

Absolutely great book.
I am a VERY avid audiobook reader!! I mean about two books a week or more if I can find something interesting to read. I have "read" well over 400 books via audiobook and my latest flavor has been Zombie books. This is the first review I have written out . I usually just rate with stars and move on to the next book but I just had to add my 2 cents this time.
I did not care for the constant negative descriptions of one of the ONLY black people this book graced the reader to include. I read LOTS of audiobooks! And rarely does anyone actually include a black person but when they do it is ALWAYS some bullshit!! The shit gets very, very fucking old!! Damn!! Look continue to leave black people outta shit if you cannot write something positive. All fucking black people are NOT drug dealers, clueless, cowards, uneducated, undereducated, welfare recipient's, criminals or dumbasses. MANY have educations, college degrees, pay taxes, have never been to jail and have only had an occasional speeding ticket on their record. So if you cannot conceptualize that just continue to leave them out of shit! Black people are used to that.
So....other than that, this was an excellent book!!
