A cute book

The story wasn’t bad, maybe a little cheesy at times. I wasn’t sure how I’d like the virtual voice and it wasn’t the best, but not the worst either. I would definitely prefer a human with some inflection, some emotion, but it wasn’t awful.

the story line is really cute. it would have been much better if it was read by a human. The AI has no emotion.

The Christmas Island Theme and community

The story starts as heartwarming then the drama with Holly’s mom develops along with interesting family revelations….but goes nowhere

The AI is terrible on this one

I like the story but the AI needs fixing. Nice light easy story to listen to.

Better than I thought!

I stayed away from the computer voice for a long time, but decided to give it a try. Totally got used to it but giggled every time she said things with a lisp. Story was good and I'm onto number 2!

The story was a light, fun tail. However, the robotic voice took something away from the story. there was no emotion in the reading.

Boo for mechanical voice

It was hard to listen to the mechanical voice without expression. The story seemed to have merit and appeared interesting, but couldn't get involved with the characters. Boo against the lifeless voice reading the story. I listen to alot of stories but couldn't get kuch past the first chapter.

Very disappointed

When I was done listening I felt like I just wasted all that time very disappointed and I weathered through AI voice which always is most always annoying to hear :,(

AI voiceover was awful

The story was good, probably better than the 3 ⭐️’s I gave it but the AI voiceover was so awful I kept getting taken out of the story. The inflection, enunciations and even pronounciations were off and really distracted from the plot. I’d love to hear this book again with a live person reading it. Never again want to hear “cut off 501’s as cut off five hundred and ones”. Maybe there is a sequel or I need to stick to printed material.
