Sheer poetry
I loved the choppy cadence of this book. It was refreshing and understandable. It is not for everyone but for those whom this is for will enjoy it

Extraordinary
I have never felt compelled to write a review before this book. This was my first time reading anything by the author and I have to say I am a huge fan now. I have listened and read many books of poems and this is the first to really inspire me and my writing. This collection is relatable, intelligent, and real. Morgan Parker gives life to each word she recites. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys poetry or who is just starting to explore it.

The time I fell for Click bait
Deep, I guess. Maybe too deep. I didn't get most of it and decided it must go into the same bin as Jordan Peele's us. 🤷🏽♀️
