Wrong format!

Although the comic books and/or videos of this series may be good I don't think audio is the best format for this work. Perhaps the videos might be successful on Audible. What we have here is just a short teaser to get you to look into the comics and videos on Amazon. I'd like a full-length episode, but not this. The story continues...

We finally find out who got shot. The language is cleaner in this one and we are introduced to a few more characters as well as the context of the struggle. Not bad for prepper fiction. These are very short and it is a narration of a comic book about preppers in the midst of a zombie-pocalypse. What causes the cataclysm? Is it the meteorite? Is it a biological weapon? Is it the final stages of Trump Derangement Syndrome? Go ahead, click the buy now button and find out!

The narrator did a good job.

Interesting concept but doesn't quite nail it

This is a comic/audio short hybrid and gives us a pdf to look at while listening to the story as it all unfolds. In theory, this all sounds interesting, but I feel like the execution wasn't quite up to snuff. The narration feels sometimes weird with how it is trying to have you experience reading a comic while being narrated. I thought the story overall was pretty decent for the fact it is so short. I truly hope the concept of a comic book feel via audiobook can work, and somehow be done without the need to look at a comic at the same time. Overall interesting concept, but not quite there overall on the follow through.

Comic Audio...Not a Good Idea

I got this audio out of curiosity of whether a comic book could be done in audio and turn out okay. Well, my answer is no. The "story" was only what was written in the dialogue bubble. It really felt lacking in the story department. I think comic books should be left as comics and not audio books due to a lot depends on what you can see (which defeats the purpose of being audible). Yes, I did download the pdf that came with it but it still left me feeling like there should be more and if you listen to the audio without the book then you really feel the story is lacking. The narration was okay. Overall, I would suggest just reading the comic since you have to have it open to make sense of the audio.

Enjoyable but so short

I like this story and enjoy the narrator, but its a pretty frustrating way to listen to a story in short bursts! Besides that its a fun read, but I would rather have the whole story or most of it at once.

I received the book in exchange for an honest review.

just ok

So, yeah... this is audio that goes with a comic book. I'm kind of underwhelmed by the comic if I'm being honest. It seems like video clips or still action shots that have been edited to look like a comic book drawing.... sort of. Obviously, I don't consider that to be a legit comic... but the story is pretty good. The narration, for all of 7 minutes this time, is good for what it is. I'm interested enough that I will continue to follow the series, assuming I can do so for free in exchange for posting these reviews, but I would not use a credit for this or buy it if it wasn't under 5 or 10 bucks.

Short, but interesting...

A unexpected conclusion to The Z Virus vol 1. This book was just as well narrated and intriguing as the first. I was given a free copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily decided to leave this review.

Okay

This made less sense than volume 1, but was probably more entertaining due to the point that it wasn't just shooting and screaming.
