Choose your Happily Ever After

This was a fun listen. Hearing the nicknames that our main character gave to each of her first dates was probably my favorite part. If you're interested in listening to a series of bad first dates with a few good guys thrown in - this is a good choice for you. Overall, I felt the story moved a bit too slowly for my tastes and there were very limited feelings involved in this dating process. Sure, there was some chemistry, but everything was surface-level and the listener's "Pick a Romance" choice isn't choosing between who she has deeply conflicting feelings for - it feels more like she is choosing which car to buy based on its traits.
I liked the concept and obviously listened to all of the endings. The one with the plot twist was my favorite!

Great Book!

This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. The narrator did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end. If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

An Engaging, Entertaining Listen

I loved the voice acting. It made the story come alive.

Listening to Chelsea's story was like listening to a girlfriend talk about her dating life. She touches on the scary parts of dating, the hear-pounding and fluttering, the excitement. There were times when I wanted to tell her to screw being polite and get herself out of there. There was a point where the dating got a little monotonous, but the story sped back up when the men started running in to each other.

The choose-your-own-ending part of the book was a huge bonus! I had to listen to all of the endings, of course.

Mild spoilers:
The part of the story where Chelsea hits someone in the head with a mini golf ball and she and her date laughs hard is hilarious. Oh my god.

Loved it

It was such a funny and well written story, with different and well developed characters. I loved some of Chelsea's conversations on the net, and her humorous comments. Very realistic. Each of her dates was unique and brought something different to her dating experience.

The idea of multiple choice endings was not new, but worked very well for this story. Each of possible outcomes had its pros and cons, but there might have been only one. I must say I wasn't thrilled with Chelsea's choice, but it was she who had been dating them, not me.

Highly recommended.

Pick Your Happy Ending!

Chelsea vows to be married by the end of the year and turns to the internet to find Mr. Right. Along the way, she also finds LOTS of Mr. Wrongs. After narrowing down the field to four, this is where the listener comes in. We get to decide who she chooses. What a unique twist! I loved Lori Prince as the narrator and thought that she did a great job with the story and characters. The Year I Dated The Internet was a fun romantic comedy and a great listen. I would recommend this.

Fun and Insightful story

I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This was a fun quick listen. It showed many of the problems with online dating but in a fun way. It also showed how you can learn from each date and also be prepared to not have a second date if you don't feel comfortable. I am glad that her next to the last choice was the best choice for her roommate and that the date she finally married was just perfect for her. I also love that even after deciding that they took a year to get to know each other before getting married. My experiences with online dating have been terrible but I keep waiting for the man that God wants me to have. The narrator was perfect for this book.

Loved!

I loved this book! I was worried about who she would choose, but I got to choose for her. I have to say that I really though Neanderthal Brad ran over Jayden in retaliation with his truck. Would have been an interesting twist especially if she picked him.

so bad

so so bad think of every trope you've ever read bundled up in to packages and alternately lobbed in your direction. I got to the "mysterious manly cowboy only in town for a week before he has to go back to the rodeo" and "uptight business man trying to find the 'perfect woman' who just needs to be taught how to relax and have fun" before I bailed.

Loved the story, hated the ending

This is one that will make you laugh outloud at some points and if you're stuck I the dating world you'll totally he able to relate. The main cha6is relatable, the narrator great, but the ending was a big disappointment to me. just pick one already!

Great Book!

To be honest, I had initially only read the book for two reasons, I did a search for books narrated by Lori Prince and I liked the reviews. This book is not in my usual genre, but who can resist the combo of Lori Prince narrating a rom-com. It was totally worth it!
