2 different books?

there were 2 different books in this, the first one was very good loved it. the 2nd one is very confusing and doesn't make sense. there are a lot of things that are in the 2nd one that were not on the first and are talked about as if you have already been introduced.

2 stories Not 1

2 books but I only listened to the first before leaving this review.. The 1st book the Arthur gives 3 different endings that was something I have never experienced an Arthur doing before, it was like she didn't know how she wanted to end the story. lol.. Also the virtual voice made this story had to listen to, You couldn't tell who was doing the talking I would have to rewind and listen again & again to try and figure it out.. I have listened to other books using V. V but this one was hard to understand.. Blood moon is the 2nd book included just not sure I will continue listening

Interesting…

There’s two books in one. The first one was good. However, the end of the second is very confusing. It’s almost like a third book of some sort. The virtual voice is not horrible but it does lack the emotion needed.

virtual voice ruined book for me as it couldn't depicted the emotion the scene called for. it felt cold and robotic. the story was good otherwise.

Story good

The audio is absolutely horrible. it actually ruins the book. This is the worst audio book I have ever listened too. I go back to reading it just to finish the story.

Choices

Normally I would say I enjoyed the book, but it is the virtual voice that is not on track. Sounds forced and while it has great vocals it does not complete some lines by blinking out. The story is good overall however I hope the virtual mouthpiece gets better.

No virtual voice

The story in this book were well written. The narration was not there were no inflections or personality to the virtual reader, several words was said incorrectly. I do not like the virtual reader. I will not listen to any other books with a virtual reader as the narrator.

I believe this was 2 (and a part of a third) books. Awfully written.

The first story was good, so I, like others seem to have felt, ignored it, feeding that the story was worth it.
by the time I got to the second book, I've was used to, but insanely annoyed by, the terrible writing combined with the AI.
Maybe it's because the second book wasn't as good, but it did seem to get more confusing in the second story.
I do not see any connection between any of the stories, the book is full of mistakes that should've been corrected before asking us to listen an AI read this book to us. Since it wasn't, it was even more confusing than the AI can sometimes be otherwise because it doesn't show emotions when reading. Add spelling and typing errors on top of that and I can honestly say that I would never recommend this to anyone.
I'm not sure why we're paying for audiobooks to listen to so many AI books when Kindle has more, better written stories that Alexa can read with the same or better AI.

narrator choppy, Monotone, no voice inflection,

the story line was great, orginal and compelling. the narrator not so much. I couldn't even listen to the story all the way through because virtual voice had pauses while turning the page that were uncomfortable, mispronounced words, and was very monotone, there was no inflection in the voice at all- it made me not want to listen anymore and I actually stopped.the book with 10 hours to go.

Needs editing.

It's a good concept but written so poorly it was really hard to follow. It needs a lot of editing for it to flow. There are scenes that pop up out of no where and go no where then the story continues on its way. It's all over the place. Little continuity. The AI is awful. This book was free. I will never pay for an AI narrated book.
