In the Middle East, the crew of the USS Cyclops fights to survive against an enemy that hides deep within their ship. Whether they are otherworldly creatures or the soulless bodies of former shipmates, they are an enemy without weakness or mercy.
Monsters are very real, especially when they wear human form and operate with human intelligence. Whether undead, or zombies, or vampires, or ghouls, the survivors face an adversary unlike any mankind has previously battled. War has begun, but it is a war not of conquest but extermination.
The end of the world threatens. The battle for survival looms large. Heaven has reached down and swept the best away. The gates of hell have opened and what has entered into the world has an insatiable appetite.
