Insightful
Provides some great insight into the political aspects of Jesus days. I wanted to see how modern American politics compare to Roman and Jewish politics during Jesus days. It's clear that politics have always been about power struggles, and the worst of humans always arises in the quest for power and control. This book does an excellent job of highlighting the day-to-day activities that a typical Jewish person would have gone through at the time of Jesus.
