very uplifting story

listening to this story really made me think, treat everyone with respect, do not look.down at people who are homejess and have nothing or barely have anything. buy them food as well.as their animals if they have animals. very inspiring story. Be thankful for what you have, little thibgs in life thst are important

sad to.hear Bob passed away, he was definitely a character. Rest in peace Bob Cat. hope you are doing well still and staying off the streets Mr

I absolutely loved the audiobook The World According to Bob by James Bowen, narrated by Kristopher Milnes. This is the 2nd audiobook I've listened to about Bob and James; the first was A Street Cat Named Bob, which I thoroughly enjoyed as much as this one!! Hearing about their adventures and day-to-day interactions kept me engaged from start to finish. I remember when I listened to the first book, I was so sad when it ended. I literally listened to it all in one day, and I kept saying that I can't believe it's already done. So, this time, I paced myself and spaced out my listening over the course of a week, so it would last longer. Still, it ended too soon, and I wanted to hear more. After looking around a bit, I was thrilled to learn about the movie (which I loved!!), as well as more audiobooks! I plan to listen to A Gift from Bob and The Little Book of Bob very soon. Yay!

There isn't anything I disliked about the storyline. James Bowen wrote a wonderful story about his life with Bob. So many parts reminded me of all the happy times I had with my kitty, BooBoo, who I miss dearly to this day. ❤ I loved how the descriptions and details made me feel like I was right there alongside them every step of the way...laughing and crying through life's ups, downs, joys, and sorrows. 

The narration by Kristopher Milnes is outstanding. I have no idea if James and Kristopher's voices even sound the same, but in my mind they do. As I listened to the story, I felt like James was the one telling it to me. The first book was also narrated by Milnes, so when I started this one, it was like being with an old friend again, without any time lost. I’m definitely happy I chose the audiobooks over just reading the print books because I was able to enjoy the story and the narration at the same time, which were both equally amazing!

Without hesitation, The World According to Bob by James Bowen, narrated by Kristopher Milnes is deserving of 5/5 stars across the board! I loved every minute of it! I highly recommend this audiobook to fans of memoirs and personal stories, as well as animal lovers, especially those who hold a special place in their hearts for cats.
