There has been much confusion when it comes to the book of Job. Without rightly dividing the word of truth, many believers and ministers have taken the words of Job and have believed and taught foolish doctrines.

They correctly state what Job said, but it does not mean what Job said is true. Here is one prime example: Job 1:21 Job said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

If you read from the beginning of chapter 1, it is obvious that God did not send evil people to rob him. God did not send fire from heaven and burn up his livestock and his servants. God did not send a tornado to destroy his eldest son's house and kill Job's children. This book takes an in-depth look at everything that Job said and compares it to what JESUS said, with other New Testament scriptures. Job's problem was not sin, but it was ignorance.

As you read this book, you will discover that Job was highly ignorant of who God is and what God does. There are many Christians like this today. Remember Job did not have the New Testament, but we do. Job had a justifiable excuse, but we do not. May this book of the words of Job bring enlightenment and understanding to your heart and mind.
