Warning

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I have several of these performances in other books of the Bible. This section IS NOT THE NKJV. I do not know what it is. It is not the KJV,ESV,NIV, NASB ,or any other familiar translations. It is not even the same people performing. Make sure you listen to sample with your NKJV before buying. I didn't.

Exceptionally gifted narrator

This wonderful recording has the best Biblical narrator I have ever heard, on a recording or in person. He does not sound like he is reading, but inhabiting the text, giving it such nuanced meaning and depth. The background noises are a little bit distracting but still do manage to achieve the aim of sounding like real life: a squeaky door opens, a donkey brays, a legion marches past, water is poured. This interpretation of St Paul makes him a real man, and these letters his real missives. Very worthwhile, even if you have heard the NT read aloud many times before.

Best reading of the bible

This is the best blend of music and reading that I have purchased. I often get distracted by background noise and miss out on what is being said. I did not have any problem with getting distracted. I was fully attentive in the words.

To God be the glory

Beautiful reading, will listen over and over again. Loved it, the background noise was a good touch to the stories.
