Gaiman score big for kids

Would you listen to The Wolves in the Walls again? Why?

Yes, I would and have, because Gaiman crafts a story that is both intriguing and humorous. Plus, he is a terrific narrator.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked the pig poppet, actually. She doesn't say much, but her presence and relationship to Lucy is fantastic.

Have you listened to any of Neil Gaiman???s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I'd say this is right on par with his performances - which is to say, TOP NOTCH. As the author, Gaiman knows exactly how he intended for his characters to sound. He knows how to pronounce their names. Gaiman never lets a listener or reader down with his performance.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

When the wolves come out of the walls, it's just the beginning...

Perfect for a Child

Read delightfully by the author, this belongs on any child's music player. It has the kind of addictive repeatability of a good fairy tale. If they're old enough to understand "The Three Little Pigs," they'll love this. If you're still young enough to be charmed by a good children's story along with your child, you'll love this as well. Does not require illustrations.

Very informative read by Neil Gaiman... kudos.

The humans within the walls are, indeed, the most terrifying thing that could hide there.

The kids loved it

A cute, quick tale with an engaging story. I grabbed it for my daughter and her friend to listen to in the car, thinking they would enjoy it. they did.

Meh

I guess this is worth $1.95 but certainly wouldn't rave about it. I don't understand why authors insist upon reading their own books (ego or too cheap to pay a pro?) but in this case the story is short and I don't think a professional reader could've brought much to it. It's for a very, very young children but again it astounds me that someone with this worthy of a publishing contract. I recommend make up your own little story it'll be just as good.

Neil is so great

If you could sum up The Wolves in the Walls in three words, what would they be?

It is hard to say but I'd have to go with imaginative, whimsical and fun.

Have you listened to any of Neil Gaiman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've read many of his books but this is the first one of his I heard, I heard it a while back and its the reason I even joined audible was so that I could hear it again. I really love it. I prefer his books when he narrates/reads.

Any additional comments?

Never pass up anything Neil Gaiman has written, its always worth it.

I loved it!

I, too, dreamed of being bitten by a vampire and turning into one when I was a child :-)
1. Children should be taken more seriously.
2. We're all wolves in the walls at some point, so be kind.
