Not your everyday mystery!
Fantastic story that unfolded masterfully! It wasn't a straightforward mystery (to my relief) and I learned a lot of historical, cultural, and scientific things that will stick with me for a long time. If you're tired of the formulaic stories that are being cranked out like Peeps on an assembly line, try this audiobook! (Note: I listened at 1.2 speed. A slower narration may feel draggy.)

Mesmerizing!
A eye opening story of the Belgium Congo at the brink of Independence. A white woman missionary is placed in the middle of greed, murder, theft, diamonds, and racial tensions. But what can one woman do??

Excellent!
The story was engaging. The additional insights on Congo wildlife and culture was a treat. They unravelled the mystery in a clever and intriguing way and right up to the end kept me interested in a great story. I WILL read on!
