Great story, not sure great performance

One of my favorite Baldacci books, but was very disappointed in the narration performance. Slipped in and out of character at times, poor accents, and a general lack of believability.

entertaining

a good account of who plays the lottery and the long odds of winning and how so much wealth can destroy people and how quickly most of them lose everything

great characters good story

if you're a fan of Baldacci's work this is not a bad choice. probably one of his best villains and certainly the other major characters are all pretty well developed. the crime complicated and interesting although the ending was a bit predictable. I'm a big fan of the King & Maxwell series and this is probably not quite up to that standard but certainly well ahead of the Camel Club.

Great narration. Story is pretty good. Held my interest for the most part. Fairly basic plot though. Could of had more to it.
