Best one yet?

It’s a crazy thought but I think this is my favorite book of the series. Of course, that would mean that both book 1 and book 3 are in my top 10 list of all time. Book 2 was so satisfying to have answers from book 1. This one rises from off the shoulders of those two books. T.Ryder Smith seems more involved in this one, too. A really excellent job by him.

Narrator change

Like others, I was disappointed by the change in narrator. Not just disappointed, angry. However, by the end of the book this narrator feels right. And one of the most prominent changes of accent ends up making sense.

Audacity if Ideas

Still high from Ada Palmer induced euphoria, which T Ryder Smith helped to elevated to potent level! Now I need a way to calm down.

The Insanity of Anonymous

I felt the book's title was a misnomer. While battle - at least in the eyes of those surrounded by a perpetual peace was a factor in the story, I felt war played a light part. Mycroft's vulnerability - the visions - the crying - the vomiting over small things were hard to read. He always seemed so strong and wise. His deterioration added a flavor to the narration - as if his descent into madness was a physical representation of the world he lived in.

Four books in and I still don't know what side is truly wrong. Although If I was born in the times depicted I would proudly be displaying a bullseye above my heart.

Disappointed

At the end of book two we were left hanging with a world on the brink of war.... Book three didn't move the plot along much. It's still entertaining, and well written. I just feel like my time was wasted.

Narration ruins a good book

This narrator should be taken out and shot for the horrible atrocity he has committed against a good book.
