They had one foot inside the door of the digital age, yet they weren’t about to let their wives come with them. They kept them firmly planted in the mid-century, when women cooked, cleaned, and minded the babies. But how could they keep them there with technological advancement progressing all around them? Easy... Murder. The replacement wives were perfectly executed androids. Good things don’t always last, though. Except androids. Humans die. Robots don’t. It’s 2015. What became of the twenty beautiful, shapely, sex droids that happen to be experts in home economics and child rearing? How did they circumvent the directive that told them to go to the men’s club to be deactivated? What made them run? And what about the unfortunate, chauvinistic men that now happen upon them that threaten their existence? It seems, perhaps, that the tables have turned in the twenty-first century digital age.
