Too short.

Too short and eeded fleshing out of the characters. Good short story but I need more story from the additive author.

Short and sweet

I really enjoyed this short story but wish it was longer and more developed book...

Very short but cute

Liked the leads, believed their connection and super cute ending. Recommend it to those that like the House of Rohan Series.

Too Short

This book is so short it repeats, but I loved it. I wish there was more to the story of Kathleen and Alistair. Their characters had the makings for more. My question is why not or will their be.

I look this and every book in the series but the last one is too short! I would be much obliged if you write another book for this series.

Perfect for what it is and well written. He is sexy in every way and so wonderful!

Short and lacking personality

I can get behind wicked lords and innocent ladies forced into sinful deeds by circumstance… but only if the plot, dialogue, and nooky sizzle. Sadly, this was a clunky (but mercifully quick) tale of a desperate lass deciding to sell her innocence for the viewing pleasure of The House of Rohan. Allistair’s arc from being complicit in debauchery to taking her for himself, to entering into honorable marriage happens at
light speed and with little credible rationale. This was okay as a free listen in Audible Plus, but if the provision of this freebie was meant to entice me to get the full length books, I have to say it did not succeed.

I listened to books 3 and 4 because they were also free. I enjoyed book 4 (Speechless) but had a hard time with 3 (Breathless). This author has a thing for creating conflict by subjecting the hs to sexual victimization. Worse, in book 3, it’s not just the bad guys hurting the hs; instead it’s the H who intentionally causes the h’s ruination, humiliations and assaults throughout the book. At the end of the day, I need my wicked lords to still be honorable. Book 3’s Breathless tread too far into the Dark Romance genre, with a criminal H. I recommend interested listeners dip their tow in with book 4’s Speechless or book 1’s Ruthless to gauge whether the rest of the series might suit.
