Gripping poignant and soo good
Jaqueline has such a range of talents in story telling . Makes you laugh, get angry and learn about the people in the war and their feelings fears and tenderness Thoroughly recommend

Sad, gripping, and as usual, well told
Jacqueline Winspear’s unique ability to weave a thrilling tale into the facts of history is showcased here. It leaves you sad about the fact that, in war, no one really wins but uplifted that true victory lies in knowing and doing what’s right.
