Publisher's summary

What is masculinity? Ask 10 men, and you'll get ten vague, conflicting answers. Unlike any book of its kind, The Way of Men offers a simple, straightforward answer - without getting bogged down in religion, morality, or politics. It's a guide for understanding who men have been and the challenges men face today. The Way of Men captures the silent, stifling rage of men everywhere who find themselves at odds with the overregulated, overcivilized, politically correct modern world. If you've ever closed your eyes and wished for one day as a lion, this book is for you.

A free thinking Black males perspective

As a black male this book brings alot of things in to perspective for me. This really gives me a confirmation on what I am doing right and what I am doing wrong. In all honesty if you are super liberal this book may not be for you. If you are in the middle or conservative this will be a nice pick me up.

Eye Opening Introspective Look

Jack has written one of the most eye opening books I have ever read. Chapter 13 especially made me realize how society uses men and seeks to replicate pseudo masculine activities in an effort to placate men to get them to do it's bidding. I look forward to reading another book by Jack Donovan, Becoming A Barbarian, which was not available on Audible at the time this review was written.

Awesome

This should be required reading for all boys yearly after turning 12 until it sinks in.

Returning natural order

This book brings light to s subject that has long been neglected of downright attacked by several generations. This book is a must read (or listen in this case) for anyone with boys, who works in a team environ or with mostly men. I even think women would benefit from this book as it address natural order at its finest. It's not coating masculinity with gender, equality, moral or religious beliefs. It's taking it from across the board.

The audio quality was top notch and having jack read it himself added a personal that's refreshing! 5/5 review here.

A great reminder for men.

A great reminder for men and their place in the world throughout history. and warnings of what we will become if we allow this world to continue in the way of women.

Lives up to it's title!

I loved listening to this book and it gave me an enormous amount to think about. As a man in my mid-forties, I had the privilege of growing up with the men of the WW2 generation like my grandfather. Most of the se men didn't need a book like this...THEY KNEW THE WAY OF MEN!!! There was no question about it.My dad's Baby Boomer generation was hit and miss at best along with my generation. However, for the millennial's it should be required reading! I also have Becoming A Barbarian, which is also great, and makes me wish he had more books along this line. He also has a great voice for audio. I recommend this book to remind all men about our roles in society.
