How do I give less than 1 star? Save yourself the credit
This audiobook was very disappointing. It consists largely of lists of the authors opinions ( a warrior does x, a victim does y) which amount to the overall position that it's good to be a warrior and it's bad to be a victim. Disturbingly, the victim personality tends to be portrayed as having characteristics that are traditionally feminine and in traditionally female dominated roles. Perhaps most disturbing is the direct link the author makes between "choosing" not to be a victim and taking martial arts training for self defence purposes. If you can get past the overt sexism, there is very little useful teaching that occurs in this book, aside from gems like: Work on being more confident. So while there may be things you agree with (as working on being more confident seems positive), you're left wondering how to implement them and thinking to yourself "Didn't I buy this audiobook to teach me to do that?"

This Was A 50% Book - Half Good!
What did you like best about The Warrior Mindset? What did you like least?
What I liked best and what was excellent is when he talked about the mindset, emotions, and the contrast between a warrior and a victim. What I did not like was when the author tried to make application of the outstanding principles. One in particular was money mangement. There were many solutions, but they all were of a poverty mindset, like shopping in Thrift Stores for clothing to save money. A warrior, if he wants to wear a $200 shirt will figure out how to make the money that will support his life decisions.
Would you be willing to try another book from D. C. Johnson? Why or why not?
At this time, I am not sure. In addition to my writing about what I liked and disliked it seems the recording was done economically. There is a whistle in the readers voice that I believe is just a microphone or mixing issue that could have been cleaned up. It was annoying.

Real Repetitive Book with Lazy Writing.
This book felt rushed with vague meaning and mediocre language. It does not go into depth on what drives a warrior mindset apart from other mindsets, it just gives random examples without going to the details on them or how to achieve a warrior mindset. Do not bother with this book, there are way better books out there on mindset and motivational psychology.
