I loved all the interesting “action” in this book. Being a Kansas resident, it was fun to experience the settings! I love the Jesus centered Amish way of life!

well this is a story of a girl adopted by Amish people and how she struggled with having English birth parents. it was good and you always learn something about the Amish when you read these books. I enjoy reading about the Amish.

Wow! Loved this!

I loved the story from beginning to end. The characters are real, deep, and interesting. The narrator, Lauren Berst, is always my number one favorite. The storyline was intense, thought-provoking, and intriguing. While I thought I knew how the story was going to end, there were times when I honestly did not know what direction the main character was going to take. The story touched my heart on a personal level also, as I learned about my biological father much later in life. I could relate to so many of the feelings and trials of that journey. Highly recommend.

As a mom of 3 adopted children I have to praise God Heather was not one of my birth mothers.
The book and story was very good. I highly recommend it.

Interesting portrayal of tension between between English and Amish cultures when there’s a hidden adoption between them
