Marcelo agreed to work with me on the case, hoping this was the last one I would take on, and then we could pursue our relationship further. Everything was going smoothly until my mom heard Marcelo and I had eloped. Which we really hadn't, yet how could I explain why we pretended to be married on the cruise ship?

My focus was being pulled in many directions, and I had to ignore the distractions. I needed to find out who was the main boss in charge of orchestrating the crimes that had taken place. I was almost certain I knew exactly who it was, and if I was right — they were going down!

I can't believe it! I have found myself the victim of identity theft that is sweeping across the town of Dexter. Marcelo has been put on the case to find the culprits, only not with me as his partner, but Becky instead. Becky is tall, blonde, and gorgeous causing all of my insecurities to rise to the surface and it seems Marcelo is fighting his own ugly green giant as well.

I have decided a trip out of town is the answer to our problems not only for our relationship, but also as a means to find answers to the crimes taking place as my prime suspects have reservations at the same resort in the mountains.

But will the heavy snow along with the lack of power cause my plans to go south? Will I be able to find the answers I need to solve the case? More importantly, will Marcelo finally make our marriage real or will he turn to Becky instead?

Agent Hughes is missing! We have searched everywhere! The whole agency has joined together in hopes of finding him.

When a new lead comes out of Las Vegas, Marcelo and I take a trip to investigate. We learn of a retired agent who also went missing the same time Agent Hughes did. Counterfeit money is circling Las Vegas and Dexter as well. Where is it coming from?

It's time to end this once and for all, but now my concern is will Marcelo and my relationship end before it really began or can it last through the stress of the circumstances? Will we be able to locate Hughes or will he end up a casualty as I fear Mrs Shoemaker was?
