Publisher's summary

The Waking World is a highly fictionalized autobiography inspired by the author's experiences after suffering with a right paralysis from a car accident that turned everything upside-down. This emotional rollercoaster is about a loner boy named Lopher Situs who loses his way home from school and embarks upon a fantastical journey through the strange and unusual.

From cannibal savages and saw-toothed piano strings to man-eating soup cans and skull-headed flowers, Lopher ventures through the abstract jungle of his own mind and discovers something incredible...himself!

The Waking World is not a self-help book, but more a self-discovery that changed the author's life forever.

A delightful hallucination

The Waking World is a very engaging and creative story. It brought out my dormant inner child and made my imagination run wild. The descriptiveness evokes vivid imagery, and the story latches onto you until the end.
