The Voyage of The SS St. Louis

Although many Jews wanted to leave Germany once Hitler and the Nazi party took control, it was very challenging to do so. Shortly after the events on Kristallnacht (night of broken glass) a little over 900 Jews sallied on the SS St. Louis to seek refuge in Cuba.
