Oh yeah, this was exactly what I wanted it to be! I really love a sexy hot story that's also a sweet love story. Chance is perfect, he has strong morals and also has a vulnerable side that I adored. Sierra was sweet and fun with goals and dreams. Together these two made perfect sense, they highlight the best in each other. I am not a big fan of adult virgins in my books by Lauren Blakely knows exactly how to write them without it being a big deal and that works so well for me. This book left my heart feeling light and happy and that's pretty much what I can always expect from a Lauren Blakely book. I love a great love story <3

Also I know I say this in every LB review but I love the low drama/angst in these books. There are always so many things in LB books that happen that I think is going to be the predictable drama we see in all book but she always adds her own twist to make it drama free... I mean these characters actually act like adults and handle their feelings and actions with a maturity that just gets me every time!

The narration was PERFECT! I really love both Teddy & Vanessa, they are both incredible narrators and it doesn't matter what characters either of them are narrating, it's easy to forget who they are when they become the characters from my current listen every time.

Fake becomes real

Chance is a pitcher for the Cougars and he has a thing for Sierra who is Grant's sister. Grant is a friend and teammate so the bro code keeps him from acting on those feeling for Sierra. That is until he needs a fake date for a wedding in Hawaii and the location and the wedding and all those feelings come out.

Sierra isn't looking for a relationship but she does want something from Chance. He has been on her radar for over a year and she has a proposition for him that will be a win for both of them but first she needs to get him to agree to take her to a wedding.

This is a story that is not only hot and interesting and keeps you listening non stop, it also has some surprises that made me laugh out loud. I love all the words this writer shares with us but I will say this is one of my favorites this year. We get to watch Chance find love again after his heart was not only broken but run over and stomped on in the past. We get to see Sierra share her heart and her Vcard and find what has been missing from her life. There are great characters supporting Chance and Sierra. Some we already know and love, others we are getting a peek at to see later.

Vanessa Edwin and Teddy Hamilton were awesome narrating this book. They became Sierra and Chance and I felt I was just along for the ride with these two while they fell in love. There is bonus content at the end that you will love as well.

I loved this book and highly recommend it.

Sweet and Steamy Romance!

I loved this sweet and sexy fake relationship romance! Chance has been going to Sierra's bar for awhile and they look forward to their friendly, and a bit flirty, banter. But Sierra is focused on growing her business and Chance has rules against hooking up with his teammate’s sister. When he needs a fake date to a wedding in Hawaii, Sierra is the only one he wanted by his side. As they spend time together, their attraction heats up and they are powerless to resist each other. Soon the lines are blurred and it is impossible to tell what is an act and what is real. This was so cute, funny, and sizzling hot! This was so cute, funny, and sizzling hot! I really liked both Sierra and Chance and felt their chemistry right from the start. Their sweet and emotional story is filled with close friends and family who are fun, and totally supportive. But it is the engaging, heartfelt and swoony romance that captured my heart.
Narrators Vanessa Edwin and Teddy Hamilton make this story even more sweet and sexy with their flawless performance. Their chemistry as Sierra and Chance is off the charts as they deliver all the witty banter, passion, and emotion beautifully. I really enjoyed this sweet, sexy and swoony romance including the special treat at the end!

Love this!

This book is just what I needed. Lauren Blakely has a way of giving me stories that I can easily get lost in, and this one is sweet and fun. Sierra has had a crush on Chance for a long time. Confident in herself, she knows what she wants, and what she wants is to have him be her first. Chance has taken notice of Sierra, but her being his teammate's sister makes her off limits. The bro-code cannot be broken. When a wedding in Hawaii comes up though, he needs a date and brings Sierra. Will this fake date turn into more? Fun, flirty, witty banter, first times and all around good feelings come out of this one. Chance is such a good guy. He takes everything to heart and is extremely caring. I love Sierra's spirit, her ability to say what she wants and how well she knows herself. Plus we get a little glimpse of Grant! It's a wonderful, feel good listen.

Adding to the great story is a fantastic narration team. Vanessa Edwin and Teddy Hamilton always bring their A-game and this one is no exception. The real highlight for me is Aaron Shedlock popping in as Tom the cat! Talk about dialing into a character, Shedlock becomes Tom with his aloof, snooty cat personality! He is awesome! This is a must listen!

Amazing couple fabulous chemistry

Omgosh ! These two where so cute! They where great friends first which always makes my heart happy. The whole group making appearances in all the books in my opinion is wonderful! The narrators did a fabulous job! Chance and Sierra are a fabulous couple

Wow! So sweet, funny, and very sexy!

Wow! LB came to slay me on this one! The Virgin Replay left my heart super happy and left me super satisfied. This book was an absolute delight to listen to from beginning to end! It had everything I needed in a friends to lovers/fake romance story. It actually exceeded my expectations! It was both so hot, erotic, sexy… but so sweet and funny as well!
Chance and Sierra’s love story was quite a whirlwind. Both of them are a little damaged from previous relationships, and are both heavily guarded. They have known each other for awhile because Sierra’s brother is on Chances baseball team. There is some mutual attraction there, but Chance always plays by the rules in all areas of his life, including “Bro Code”. He feels like he has to fight his attraction to her because he can’t date a team members sister. I love the instant chemistry between these two characters, their banter is so witty , funny, infectious and endearing.. They just go so well together. The sexual tension was through the roof HOT! The way that Sierra knew exactly what she wanted from Chance and was not ashamed to ask for exactly what she wants in bed. Even while she still holds her V Card.
This story took a lot of really unexpected turns, and I was there for it! So wildly entertaining. I also really enjoyed how all the side characters are interconnected in other LB series, like The Men of Summer. I like how they make appearances in this one. This book made me want to go to Hawaii so badly! How romantic and sensual of a place it is.
Vanessa Edwin and Teddy Hamilton did an amazing job narrating these two multi layered characters. These two have great chemistry together, and this book they took it to the next level. Vanessa was so on point with conveying Sierra’s shy, reserved persona, but WOW… she really did amazing switching to a highly confident, sexually confident independent woman. Her voice range of emotions is always a favorite of mine! Teddy again blew my mind with this character, Chance. Chance has a lot going on , and his internal monologue is both hilarious and very dirty. Knowing a little about his character from the previous books in the series, I was pleasantly surprised that he developed a completely new character voice for Chance. He’s definitely becoming one of my favorite narrators!
Can’t leave out Aaron Shedlock who plays Sierra’s cat Tom in the epilogue. He did an amazing job portraying this laid back, in love Tom cat! That was super fun. There are also some teasers for other books at the end as well. I am just so excited for those, they sound delicious!

Loved this sweet and sexy fake romance!!

Thank you Lauren Blakely for giving us another deliciously sexy virgin baseball romance! The Virgin Replay, Book 3 in the Rules of Love series, is a fake romance at its finest set in some of the most desirable places. (Hawaii and Vegas?! Yes please!) I have been anxiously awaiting Chance and Sierra's romance, and Lauren once again did not let me down giving us all of her usual sweet and steamy goodness!

Vanessa Edwin and Teddy Hamilton narrate this audio, and oh wow! Do they turn up the heat with their performances! Vanessa Edwin portrays all of Sierra's wants, desires, and her determination to finally go after Chance all in her sinfully decadent voice! Teddy Hamilton conveys Chance's doubts, passion, and charm perfectly as he decides to truly give in and make his move on Sierra. Both narrators completely captivated me with their performances!

Overall, Lauren Blakey has hit another home run with The Virgin Replay! In this book you get a fun and flirty fake romance, HOT steamy time, glimpses of some of our other favorite hunky baseball guys, trips to Hawaii and Vegas, a super supportive twin brother, an arrogant over the top "Tom" cat, and HEA perfection! I loved this book, and always look forward to more from Lauren Blakely.

Liked the story, Hate the narration

While I liked the story, the narration was just awful. Teddy Hamilton wasn’t bad, but Vanessa Edwin, when she goes to a “man’s voice” sounds like Thurston Howell, III from Gilligan’s Island.

Loved it - Great story and great narration

The third book in the Rules of Love series and it was just as entertaining and engaging as the other books. This is my favourite book in the series to date. I absolutely adored Chance and Sierra and they are perfect for one another. Chance has had feelings for Sierra for quite some time but it would go against the “bro Code” to date her as she is the sister of his teammate Grant. .
There was so much heart in this book along with steam that you cannot help but fall for these characters. There was nothing I did not like about this book. I have anew book boyfriend, I fell hard and fast for Chance, such a swoon worthy man, he ticked all the boxes for me.
Both the main characters of Chance and Sierra were likeable, engaging and easy to relate too, add in a cast of secondary characters who were also fun and entertaining and you are in for a wonderful read.
The narration by Vanessa Edwin, Teddy Hamilton and Aaron Shedlock's epilogue was entertaining and in my opinion suited the characters totally. Easy to listen to they enhanced the story for me.

A good guy with a bad boy streak?

I love everything Lauren Blakely, and The Virgin Replay is up there with her best, add in the fact that her audios really are THE best, (and it just so happened that I listened to the audio version of this story), with Teddy Hamilton - yummy, and Vanessa Edwin, two of my favourites, meant that this book was a real win for me. It had all the romance, all the friendships, the emotional drama, and of course the sexy time. I love a fake romance, oh and let’s also not forget the baseball angle, and the team-mates sister forbidden angle, and the bro-code aspect. All my favourites, and just to truly get my juices going, we’ve added a whole bunch of my favourite characters from previous books in the mix. I was blown away. A fun and highly enjoyable romance. In true ‘gift that keeps giving’ style there was a fun epilogue narrated by Aaron Sherlock, add in a couple of sneak previews with some of my favourite narrators, and I was in audio heaven. Lauren Blakely really is the Queen of Audio.
