Publisher's Summary

I’m a coward. The second-born son of the powerful Vendetti mafia famiglia. Vengeance and fearlessness should run in my blood.

They say I’m a liability, an addict, the embarrassment of the famiglia. None of them know the weight I bear, the guilt clawing in my gut for trying to escape it all. I’ll never be underboss, of that I’m certain. Yet, my life changes in a mere moment when I discover I have a daughter. She's someone to live for and protect, an innocent baby depending on me.

The nanny comes into my life soon after, testing my resilience. She’s a new temptation, a craving I shouldn’t desire. I’m faced with more choices, none of them simple. Succumbing to my addiction is the easy way out, but I’m finally ready to fight. I’m Salvatore Vendetti, and I’m done being the coward.

Warning: This series is very steamy, so be ready! Dark, taboo, possible triggers. If you can't handle thinking outside the box, you can't handle this audiobook. It's hot, full of racy scenes, and for openminded listening wanting to hear a suspenseful, non-cookie-cutter story. This audiobook is for those of us bored with the everyday romance stories everyone else is creating. If you click, you're warned. Also, welcome to the dark side. Let me entice your mind.

Hot, Forbidden, Taboo, Fabulous!

Annabella arrives to be nanny to the baby who as yet doesn’t even have a name. Salvatore, the father, drunkard, addict, loser, member of La Familia, one of seven sons, each deadly, loyal and each complicit in a dark secret, the Vendetti Family Curse. Well written with characters that are scary realistic and dialogue that not only rings true, but at times scorched my soul, this story, THIS STORY, is dark, taboo, violent, forbidden, twisted, FLAMING HOT and definitely not for those with delicate sensibilities. I loved it! Brought to life by beautiful, authentic sounding narration, you will want to make sure your headphones are fully charged and ready to go, as you will definitely need them! Five smoking hot, deeply satisfied stars!

bad male narrator.

The story could be good, but I can't get past the male voice. not a voice I expect from a mafia man.

Sal's not a coward

I enjoyed this book. Sal's demons and his battles with them were palpable and I rooted for him. Annabelle was just window dressing for me in the story and a necessary evil. I focused more on Sal and the crime family and how they interacted and what made them tick. I liked it and would read more in the series. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrators did a good job bringing the characters and story to life.

Salvatore is my favorite yet!

I devoured this book. I love Salvatore's story. To listen to a honest telling of the struggles of over coming addiction was refreshing. Sapphire gave true insight to the daily struggles of someone who has gotten sober. I can't wait to listen to more of the Vendetti series.

The Vendetti Coward.

I loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were intriguing. Salvatore was second son in the Vendetti family, but Salvatore was a lost souĺ he ended up being addicted to alcohol and drugs. Salvatore received a message saying the mother of his child died that he needs to pick up his baby girl, he had a perternal test to make sure the baby is his, considering he had a vasectomy. Annabella joined the Vendetti family as a nanny, she was infatuated with Salvatore, she was shy quite but a good nanny. This book had everything in it that you would want in a Mafia story, the facing of demon to get over the addictions, the sexual scenes, the ups and downs, the unconditional love, the bond and support the brothers had for each other and plenty more in the book just to keep you wanting more.
