Publisher's Summary

Ready to start the plant paradox diet?

You have the right book. I will explain how to start with delicious slow-cooker (crock-pot) recipes to reduce inflammation, lose weight, and get healthier. It can be useful for people with food sensitivities.

Eating large amounts of food containing lectin can cause gaseous or gastric disorders in some people. Lectin is not digestible. It binds to the cell membranes that line the digestive tract. Cooking destroys most of the lectin in food. It is important to avoid raw, soaked, or undercooked beans, which have been found to be toxic to people due to lectin levels.

With the first chapter, you will explore the world of lectin-free, and you will be ready to cook delicious breakfast, main dish, vegetable, soup, and dessert recipes. With this variety of healthy and delicious recipes, you will get more energy and feel better!

This cookbook features:

  • What are lectins and why lectins are bad
  • How lectins "attack"
  • Plants’ chemical warfare
  • Ways to reduce lectins in your diet
  • Gluten allergy and what to do
  • Advantage of cooking with a slow cooker

Great audio, Not great for people with allergies.

So far I have listened to 3 chapters, and I am sad that no one mentioned that she is using ingredients that are not on the plant paradox list. So far I have heard bran, dairy, and granola and I am only into the 3rd recipe. Plus there is no PDF to this book so you have to listen to all of it then find your recipe. On a good note, she reads it well and it is informational. But just not for me since the whole point of plant paradox is to get away from things that would destroy your gut. My gut is damaged and I can not have things like those stated above.
